Just had a few hours in Boston waiting for a fligh

Just had a few hours in Boston waiting for a flight so visited the Institute of Contemporary Art situated on the harbour, and did a little walk around, with stop also at Trader Joe's 😆

At ICA we were treated to powerful sculptures by Simone Leigh (who represented US in 2022 at the Venice Biennale) and also amazingly textured paintings by Tammy Nguyen - this one a portrait of Ralph Waldo Emerson. The building's architecture was worth checking out too.

Starting in 10 days!! Come join and "learn how to draw"; no experience necessary but all experience welcome!

As Betty Edwards said in "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain":

"As many of my students have told me, their lives seem richer because they are seeing better and seeing more. It's helpful to remember that we don't teach reading and writing to produce only poets and writers, but rather to improve thinking".
