Just dropped off a framed "Journeys I" giclee @yanacomoxvalley for their Big Love event, one of their biggest fundraisers of the year which looks like it will be fun (despite Covid). Tickets go on sale Jan 17 and the online auction opens Feb 16th.

These stumps always feel like they have a story to tell, especially with the gaps which look like eyes. These slots are where loggers once inserted their springboards to stand on so they could cut above the tougher sappy bottom of tree.
