Art Inspired by Life on Vancouver Island
Tracy Kobus works out of her studio near the Puntledge River in the beautiful Comox Valley. The paintings she creates, give a thoughtful perspective on the interrelationship between humans and the natural world.
Meet the Artist
Tracy creates her acrylic paintings in her studio in the Comox Valley, B.C. She has worked as a professional artist and drawing teacher for the past 25 years and her originals, art cards and giclee prints may be found in many local gift shops and galleries. Tracy’s paintings are loosely referenced from photographs and sketches of places she has explored, mostly on Vancouver Island. She believes that the landscape can serve as a powerful metaphor for many aspects of our life’s journey, a theme she also explores in her monthly blog. READ MORE ABOUT THE ARTIST…
