Acrylics: Painting a Van Gogh-Inspired Landscape

In this class, practice mixing colours and using expressive brushwork as you create your own Van Gogh-inspired landscape painting.  Van Gogh was a post-impressionist painter whose swirling skies and bright colours expressed movement and feeling.  After an introduction to the artist and his style, you will be guided through the entire painting process, including mixing colour values, sketching out a loose plan and then creating the painting in layers.  This class is for total beginners, or anyone looking to increase their confidence with acrylic painting.
