This painting is of the Puntledge River, a popular swim spot in our city.  A young man is standing on a rock, contemplating the water he is about to jump into.  A seagull flies up the river looking for salmon, signaling that summer is coming to a close.  The sparkling water adds mystery and magic to the painting.
