Lone Rider

Lone Rider 2014
I have been mountain biking for several years, and still every time before a ride I have that same feeling of anticipation, never really knowing what might happen on the ride – will I run into animals, will I run into a tree, etc.. ? These feelings are especially evident when I am a “Lone Rider”. I never let this worry or these feelings stop me, which is partly why I like mountain biking, I think it helps you to stay brave.
Every time I set out on a hike, bike ride or even start a new painting I am aware that I am assuming some risk, taking a step into the unknown and that I may emerge from the ordeal or event, changed in some way. Quote from Art of the Journey Blog
