Habitat 2014

In this painting a magestic tall fir stands alone in front of a vibrant red sky.  The coniferous trees on the west coast of British Columbia can get so big they can dwarf any buildings or human structures around them.  The solo tall tree, also a habitat for many creatures, symbolizes the resilience of nature in the face of many environmental changes.
