Acrylics - Painting in Realistic Colour

This class is for those who have some painting experience, have taken “Getting Started with Acrylics” and/or “Understanding Light and Dark” or a similar class before.

In this class you will learn how with “hue” (colour), “value” (lights and darks) and now “intensity” (bright and dull) you can mix any colour you see.  Practice making some intensity scales and start to see the range of different colours you can reproduce.   We will then recreate the colours we see in a still life, in order to paint a realistic painting.

Supplies included

There will be a 1/2hr break for lunch.  Feel free to bring your own lunch or go out!
