Every City Needs One
Every City Needs One 2012
In this painting a giant heart floats above a city reminiscent of where I live: Courtenay, B.C., though it also looks like a European town. A river and a green bridge are in the centre. I called the painting “Every City Needs One” as every city needs a community that takes care of each other – something I feel the Comox Valley does well. Giclees of this image hang in all four of the YANA (You Are Not Alone) apartments in Vancouver.
