Heart’s Door

Heart’s Door  2013

I enjoy doing paintings of hearts and seeing all the different varieties I can come up with for one universal symbol.  In this one I was creating a maze inside and outside the heart that leads to a green door at the centre.  When I painted this I was dealing with a confusing and challenging interaction with someone close to me, a good thing that came out of it was this little painting!
