Happy Spring!! 🌷

Here's a few of my classic spring images and favourite cards!

"Amber", my painting of a couch on the logging road. Now available as prints and also a card. Find in my SHOP, go to website on homepage.

Strange to see indoor furniture not where it belongs (as you do often see in this area). I'm drawn to this juxtaposition of indoor and outdoor elements and giving new life (though in a painting) to these discarded pieces.

Captured a bit of the last class in the 8 week "Drawing: The Right Approach" where participants learned many aspects of drawing including: contours, gestures, values, negative space and perspective.

The class copied "Head of a Youth by Del Sarto (1486-1530) as "pre-instruction drawing" in the first class and then drew it again in the last class to see how much they improved. Their commitment over eight weeks definitely paid off!

There's still a few classes to come including "Colour Basic III" this Sunday, "Fun with Drawing Portraits" in 2 weeks, "Flower Drawing Workshop" and "Painting Abstract Portrait Workshop" in early May. Find more info and register on my website on homepage and click on art classes.
