Getting Started With Acrylics

In this introductory painting course, participants will be introduced to acrylic paints, brushes and set-up while learning the basics about colour. Projects include mixing colours to produce a small colour wheel and learning about colour relationships, such as how complementary colours work.  Finally everyone will complete their own abstract painting while exploring how colours interact with each other. This class (along with Drawing: The Right Approach) provides a strong foundation for creative artwork in any media.

Supplies included

There will be a 1/2hr break for lunch.  Feel free to bring your own or go out!
