Acrylics: Flowers Inspired by O'Keefe

PREREQUISITE: “Getting Started in Acrylics class” or equivalent experience.

Create your own painting of a flower, inspired by the flower paintings of Georgia O’Keefe.  In this class you will learn how to create value transitions, mix realistic colours and decide on a colour scheme.  There will be some drawing involved as we spend some time choosing subject matter and planning an interesting composition.  Finally you will paint your own flower, with guidance from the instructor.

All supplies included including a 12″ x 16″ canvas panel.

There will be a 1/2hr lunch break.  Feel free to bring your own lunch or go out!
