Fun With Drawing Portraits

Learn to draw portraits, both realistic and abstract, using graphite, charcoal, pastel, and pen. Explore features, proportions, and texture.

Flower Drawing Workshop

Capture spring’s beauty by drawing flowers like daffodils and roses. Learn contours, shapes, and texture while adding color with pastel or watercolor pencil.

Painting Abstract Portraits

1 Class

Paint an abstract portrait inspired by modern artists like Picasso or Miró. Plan, mix colors, and create your own piece on an 11” x 14” canvas with acrylics.

Improve your drawing skills with exercises inspired by Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. Learn to see differently and enhance visual awareness.

Artist & Instructor Bio

Tracy creates acrylic paintings in her studio in the Comox Valley, near the Puntledge River. She has worked as a professional artist and art teacher for the past 20 years. Her artwork is exhibited in many gift shops and galleries – she also has a successful online shop. Tracy is an encouraging, knowledgeable and thoughtful instructor who believes that art is an essential ingredient towards inner growth and self knowledge.

Creating and appreciating art gives people of all ages a chance to look at their life from a larger perspective.  It reveals possibilities and also gives one the courage to try things a new way.  Tracy
