Acrylics - Painting a Klee-Inspired Cityscape
This class is for those who have some painting experience, have taken “Getting Started with Acrylics” or a similar class before.
In this class we will learn how to see colours as values (lights and darks) by painting a cityscape inspired by the paintings of Paul Klee. Paul Klee was a prolific modern artist from Europe, working in the early twentieth century. He was an expert in colour, working in different media – some of his abstract cityscapes were influenced by trips to Africa.
You will also practice various acrylic painting techniques, such as how to create transitions between light and dark or different textures.
Supplies included.
There will be a 1/2hr break for lunch. Feel free to bring lunch or go out!
